Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) Reserve Affairs Personnel Management Branch (RAM) Active Reserve Monitor Roadshow

MARADMIN 413/24 announces the FY25 Reserve Affairs Personnel Management Branch (RAM) Active Reserve Monitor Roadshow, which will visit four geographic locations between December 2024 and April 2025. The roadshow will provide senior leader engagements, informational briefs, and one-on-one monitor interviews to assist Active Reserve Marines with career planning and to inform Reserve and Active Component Marines about the AR Program.

1.  RAM will visit designated geographic locations to
conduct senior leader engagements (SLEs), provide informational 
briefs, and conduct interviews to discuss manpower planning and 
assist Active Reserve (AR) Marines in making well-informed career 
decisions.  Reserve Component (RC) and Active Component (AC) Marines
interested in learning more about the AR Program are encouraged to
attend briefs and schedule monitor interviews. 
2.  RAM will execute four HQMC funded events (read in two columns):

    a.  SLE:  SLEs between RAM personnel and command leadership and
staff will be coordinated via SEPCOR.
    b.  Briefs:  Briefs will be provided to Unit Coordinators for 
dissemination within their commands.  Marines are encouraged to view
briefs for information on assignment processes, career progression 
within the AR program, and manpower programs and policies.  
    c.  Monitor Interviews:  Marines will be able to schedule 
one-on-one interviews at a suitable date and time via the Microsoft
Bookings application.  Links to the booking application will be 
distributed by the assigned RAM Command Visit Coordinator via SEPCOR.
3.  Support Requirements
    a.  Following release of this message, host commands will be 
contacted by a RAM Command Visit Coordinator.  Host commands shall
assign a Unit Coordinator who will execute detailed planning via 
SEPCOR with the assigned RAM Command Visit Coordinator. 
    b.  Host commands will provide adequate facilities and 
communication assets to support SLEs and monitor interviews.
4.  Requests for RAM Command Visits
    a.  Unit Commanders and Inspector-Instructors outside of the
listed geographic locations may request virtual or in-person monitor
visits to conduct SLEs, interviews, and to energize retention actions
in targeted PMOSs.  These visits can be requested by completing the 
RAM Command Visit Request via the link below.  RAM Command Visits
outside of locations listed in paragraph 2. will be unit funded.
    b.  Requests for monitor visits should be submitted NLT 90 days
prior to the first day of the requested visit.  Visits may be 
requested on drill weekends to allow for increased engagement with 
SMCR populations.  Commands outside the identified locations will 
have a RAM Command Visit Coordinator identified in the request 
response.
