CY2020 Marine Corps Ammunition Awards Program (MCAAP) Recipients
This MARADMIN announces the recipients of the Calendar Year 2020 Marine Corps Ammunition Awards Program (MCAAP), recognizing outstanding ammunition personnel across four categories. The awards honor an ammunition officer, staff NCO, NCO, and technician for their exceptional performance. Recipients will be honored at a ceremony on September 1, 2021, at Potomac Point Winery and Vineyard in Stafford, Virginia.

1. The Commandant of the Marine Corps congratulates the following individuals for their selection as the recipients of the 2020 United States Marine Corps Ammunition Awards Program for the categories as indicated. As specified in reference B, an annual awards board was convened to review nominations from throughout the Marine Corps and select award recipients. 2. The recipients are indicated by listing the award, recipient and nominating command. 2.A. Ammunition Officer of the Year Award recipient is Chief Warrant Officer 2 Robert Jevning, Ammunition Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group. 2.B. Ammunition Technician Staff Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award recipient is Gunnery Sergeant William C. James, Marine Forces Special Operations Command. 2.C. Ammunition Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year Award recipient is Sergeant Jacob S. Orozco, Command Element, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, III Marine Expeditionary Force. 2.D. Ammunition Technician of the Year is Corporal Ruzzel P. Yee, Ammunition Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group. 3. The Marine Corps Association and Foundation (MCA&F) is the sponsor for this year's award. The recipients will be honored during an awards reception at the Potomac Point Winery and Vineyard in Stafford, Virginia on 1 Sep 2021. 4. This year's award selection process was challenging due to the highly competitive nominees for each category. Commands are encouraged to continue to nominate ground ammunition personnel that they feel best represent their unit and the ammunition community. It was apparent that all those nominated are deserving of our respect and special recognition. Congratulations to all nominees. 5. Release authorized by BGen A. J.
