Change of GCSS-MC/LCM Production and Training Portals

This MARADMIN announces the change of URLs for the GCSS-MC/LCM (Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps/Logistics Chain Management) Production and Training portals due to a major software upgrade from Oracle E-Business Suite version 11I to R12. The system is undergoing an extended outage beginning July 27, 2018, for approximately 10 days while data migrates from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC to the Kansas City Information Technology Center, and all users must update their bookmarks to the new GCSS-MC Jumpsite URL.

1.  Purpose.  This MARADMIN provides the new Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the GCSS-MC/LCM R12 Production and Training website.<br>
2.  GCSS-MC/LCM is undergoing an extended outage to upgrade the primary underlying software from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) version 11I to R12.  The extended outage period began on 27 July 2018 and is anticipated to last for approximately 10 days. The R12 upgrade involves migrating the system data from its current location aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC (CLNC) to the Kansas City Information Technology Center (KCITC).<br>
3.  Action.<br>
3.a.  The GCSS-MC/LCM team is physically migrating the system data from CLNC to the KCITC.  The current GCSS-MC/LCM URL will be permanently closed after the migration.<br>
3.b.  The GCSS-MC/LCM training portal has been redesigned, and has been renamed the GCSS-MC Jumpsite.  The GCSS-MC Jumpsite contains all current GCSS-MC/LCM R11 training resources, new R12 training resources, R12 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), relevant announcements from the GCSS-MC Operation Center, outage schedules, helpdesk information and contacts, various references, impact videos, functional updates, and features a deployed operations section to assist our forward deployed users.<br>
3.c.  The new GCSS-MC Jumpsite is located via https:(slash)(slash)gcssmc-trng.gcds.disa.mil/index.htm.  All GCSS-MC users are highly encouraged to replace the old GCSS-MC URLs in their Internet Explorer favorites with the new GCSS-MC Jumpsite URL listed above.<br>
3.d.  GCSS-MC Jumpsite access is available to all individuals with a federally issued Common Access Card (CAC).<br>
