New Web Base Discrimination and Sexual Harassment (DASH) Reporting System
This MARADMIN announces the rollout of a new web-based Discrimination and Sexual Harassment (DASH) reporting system to replace the previous complaint tracking system implemented in 1994. The system will be rolled out in phases across different Marine Forces between October 15 and November 15, 2004, and Equal Opportunity Advisors (EOAs) must provide contact information and complete implementation steps to gain access.

1. THE PURPOSE OF THIS MARADMIN IS TO ANNOUNCE THE ROLLOUT OF THE NEW WEB BASED DASH SYSTEM. 2. DUE TO THE SENSITIVITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF DISCRIMINATION AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMPLAINTS, IN 1994 CMC (MPE) IMPLEMENTED THE DASH COMPLAINT TRACKING SYSTEM TO MONITOR ALL ALLEGATIONS OF DISCRIMINATION AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT. THE DASH REPORT IS REQUIRED WHEN A FORMAL COMPLAINT IS FILED AND A MARINE IS INVOLVED. THE SYSTEM HAS NOW BEEN UPDATED WITH A STREAMLINED WEB BASED APPROACH THAT ENHANCES THE OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM. THIS UPDATED DASH REPORTING SYSTEM CONTINUES TO BE THE TOOL TO ENSURE THAT ALL FORMAL COMPLAINTS ARE APPROPRIATELY ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER. 3. THE ORDER OF ROLLOUT WILL BE QUANTICO AND MARFORLANT BY 15 OCT 2004, MARFORRES BY 30 OCT 2004, AND MARFORPAC BY 15 NOV 2004. ALL EOAS PROVIDE THIS HQ WITH THEIR CORRECT FULL NAMES AND PHONE NUMBERS. IMPLEMENTATION WILL INCLUDE MAKING CONTACT WITH THE CONTRACTOR TO RECEIVE INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO GAINING ACCESS. OUTSTANDING DASH REPORTS NEED TO BE FINALIZED IF POSSIBLE PRIOR TO IMPLEMENTATION. AFTER THE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE, EO ADVISORS MUST CONTACT CMC (MPE) FOR THEIR USER ID AND PASSWORD. 4. THE USER MANUAL FOR THE DASH SYSTEM IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE CMC (MPE) WEBSITE AT WWW.USMC.MIL/EO AND WILL BE MAILED TO EACH EOA.
