FY17 Recruiting Station Commanding Officer (RSCO) Selections
This MARADMIN announces the selection of 15 officers for Fiscal Year 2017 Recruiting Station Commanding Officer (RSCO) assignments, one officer for Director of Recruiters School, and 17 alternates. A board of 13 officers, including three general officers, reviewed 430 eligible officers and made selections based on demonstrated leadership and potential to operate effectively in independent duty recruiting environments.

1. The purpose of this message is to announce those officers who were selected for assignment as RSCO beginning in 2017. Additionally, the officer competitively selected to serve as the Director for Recruiters School and the RSCO alternates are listed below.<br>
2. Marine Corps Recruiting Command is dedicated to recruiting high quality men and women from across our nation to earn the title "Marine." To reinforce and continue ongoing recruiting successes, the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs convened a board of 13 officers, to include three general officers, to review the records of 430 eligible officers to select 15 officers for recruiting station command assignments. Additionally, the Recruiters School Director and 17 alternates were selected. Demonstrated leadership and the potential to operate effectively in this unique, independent duty environment were among the factors considered in the selection process.<br>
