United States Marine Corps Ground Ordnance Maintenance Association (GOMA) Awards Program 2015 Award Recipients

This MARADMIN announces the 2015 recipients of the United States Marine Corps Ground Ordnance Maintenance Association (GOMA) Awards Program. Four Marines were selected for excellence in ground ordnance maintenance across different categories: Maintenance Officer, SNCO, NCO, and Marine of the Year. Awards will be presented through local ceremonies coordinated by Marine Expeditionary Force G-4 Ordnance representatives and local GOMA representatives.

1.  As specified in reference b, an annual awards board is convened to review nominations and select awardees for the United States Marine Corps Ground Ordnance Maintenance Award. The Commandant of the Marine Corps congratulates the following Marines for being selected as 2015 recipients. Read in three columns.

2.  The sponsor for the awards is the Marine Corps Ground Ordnance Maintenance Association. Due to time and funding constraints, it is not feasible to conduct an awards banquet.  The absence of a formal awards banquet does not detract from the importance of the awards. Awards should be presented via appropriate local ceremonies.
2.a.  I, II, and III Marine Expeditionary Force G-4 Ordnance representatives will coordinate with the local GOMA representatives for delivery of awards and follow-on presentation.
