Feasibility of Support for August CNA Tuition Assistance
This MARADMIN announces a Department of Defense study by the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA) to evaluate Tuition Assistance (TA) program usage across military services, focusing on Marines' TA awareness, barriers, goals, and outcomes. The study will conduct 15 focus groups with 150 Marines of various ranks at Camp Lejeune's John A. Lejeune Education Center from August 26-30, 2019.

1. Background. During 26-30 august 2019, the Center For Naval Analysis (CNA) plans to conduct the Department of Defense Voluntary Education Sponsored Study entitled "Understanding Military Service-Level Differences in Tuition Assistance (TA) use." The study supports the Department of Defense's ongoing mission to evaluate TA efficacy and functionality and will evaluate service-specific differences in ta use, ta access, and TA awareness. The Marine Corps study will obtain and analyze information on Marines' TA awareness, any barriers faced in using TA, Marines TA goals, and TA outcomes.<br> 2. Requirements. CNA will conduct separate focus groups with junior, mid-grade, and senior service members who have either used or not used TA for a total of 150 Marines making up 15 focus groups. Marines will be meet at the John A. Provide MCCS with a point of contact for coordination of Marines.<br> 4. MCCS Camp Lejeune<br> A. Work with IIMEF to facilitate access to the John A. Lejeune Education Center (Education Center), bldg 825.<br> B. Work with the voluntary education staff to identify education Subject matter experts (SME). Researchers shall have access to the Education SMES to conduct interviews on 26 August 2019 at 1000.<br> 5. This GENADMIN is cancelled upon completion of the study.<br> 6. Release authorized by M. C.
