Call for Participation in the 2020 Virtual National Naval Officers' Association Professional Development and Training Symposium

This MARADMIN announces the 2020 Virtual National Naval Officers' Association (NNOA) Professional Development and Training Symposium, scheduled for August 3-7, 2020, with the theme "Inclusion and Diversity, A Catalyst for Maritime Superiority." The symposium is open to the entire Marine Corps Total Force and features sessions with Sea Service leaders including the Commandant of the Marine Corps, with registration required at www.nnoa.org to access virtual sessions.

1. This MARADMIN announces the 2020 Virtual National Naval Officers' Association (NNOA) Professional Development and Training Symposium from 3-7 August 2020.
2. NNOA's mission is to enhance Sea Service operational readiness by supporting recruiting, professional development, and retention in an effort to achieve a diverse officer corps that reflects the demographics of our Nation. This year's theme is, "Inclusion and Diversity, A Catalyst for Maritime Superiority."
3. This year, NNOA is providing a virtual experience. Sessions on August 4-6, 2020 will feature leaders from our Sea Services to include the Commandant of the Marine Corps.  In each session, participants are encouraged to pose questions and solicit timely advice from each leader and supporting panelists.  NNOA will host networking sessions on Monday, 3 August and Friday, 7 August, to enable participants to share and learn from each other.  Saturday, 8 August 2020, members of NNOA are invited to an ALL HANDS session where RADM Sinclair Harris, USN (Ret.) will provide updates and the State of the Organization.
4. Register for the 2020 NNOA Symposium at their website: www.nnoa.org. Participants must register to receive access to all virtual sessions. The live sessions will be streamed via YouTube.
Only participants with access to the virtual sessions will be able to interact with the host and panelists.
