FY19 Recruiting Station Commanding Officer (RSCO) Selections
This MARADMIN announces the selection of 17 officers to serve as Recruiting Station Commanding Officers (RSCO) beginning in 2019, along with 15 alternates. A board of 12 officers, including three general officers, reviewed 404 eligible officers and selected candidates based on demonstrated leadership and potential to operate effectively in independent duty recruiting environments.

1. The purpose of this message is to announce those officers who were selected for assignment as Recruiting Station Commanding Officers beginning in 2019 and to publish a list of selected alternates.<br>
2. Marine Corps Recruiting Command is dedicated to recruiting high quality men and women from across our nation to earn the title "Marine." To reinforce and continue ongoing recruiting successes, the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs convened a board of 12 officers, to include three general officers, to review the records of 404 eligible officers and select 17 for recruiting station command assignments. Additionally, the board selected 15 alternates. Demonstrated leadership and the potential to operate effectively in this unique, independent duty environment were among the factors considered in the selection process.<br>

5. Alternates will be screened by the Commandants Professional Intermediate-level Education Board (CPIB) to attend associated programs in FY19. They will remain as eligible RSCO alternates regardless of CPIB selections.<br>
