Update 1 to MARADMIN 435/24 Awards Update
This MARADMIN provides corrections and updates to MARADMIN 435/24 regarding Marine Corps awards. It adds participating units to the Regimental Combat Team-5 Navy Unit Commendation, corrects the meritorious period for the Air and Space Outstanding Unit Award, updates the note for Humanitarian Service Medal eligibility, and announces that the Marine Corps Unit Awards Manual is now maintained online rather than distributed.

Note: Personnel who were not directly participating in the humanitarian efforts in paragraphs 12.a.1 to 12.a.4 remain eligible for personal military decorations for support rendered to the overall success of the operations. Commanders in the grade of O-6 and above are responsible for ensuring all HSM submissions are in compliance with the references. 5. Ref A is no longer distributed.
