Solicitation for Marine Corps Fuels Unit and Personnel Nominations for the CY 2016 Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program
This MARADMIN solicits nominations from Marine Corps fuel facilities and units for the Calendar Year 2016 Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program. The program recognizes the best managed and operated Marine Corps fuel activities, including contractor-operated facilities, as well as individual achievements of fuels personnel. Nomination packages must be submitted through the chain of command by January 27, 2017.

1. Per instructions contained in ref a, this message announces and invites all qualified Marine Corps fuel facilities/units to participate in the calendar year (CY) 2016 Excellence in Naval Fuel Management Recognition Program Competition for the best managed and operated Marine Corps fuel activities, including contractor-operated fuel activities. The program is also designed to recognize the individual achievements and contributions of Marine Corps fuels personnel. The period of consideration is CY 2016. Ref a provides guidelines, procedures, and timelines for submitting nomination packages. The instruction can be obtained via Naval Logistics Library (NLL) website https:(slash)(slash)nll.ahf.nmci.navy.mil. 2. Action. Marine Corps units/facilities/commands who desire to compete should complete and forward their nomination packages, via the chain of command, to arrive NLT 27 Jan 2017 to the following address: HQMC Fuel LNO, (LPE), NAVSUP Energy, 8725 John Kingman Rd, Suite 3719, Ft.
