Defense Agencies Initiative Pre Cutover Cutover and Post Cutover Transition Period Guidance Announcement
This MARADMIN announces guidance for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a new financial management business system that will integrate with logistics systems. It provides pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover transition period guidance for G4 Marines, civilians, and contractors who manage procurement workflows through various logistics systems. The guidance is accessible via a DAI Confluence sharepoint and includes procedures for submitting offline requisitions during the transition period beginning October 1, 2021.

1. Per reference A, Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) is a new financial management (FM) business system. Logistics business systems will become feeder systems into and out of DAI. G4 Marines/Civilians/Contractors will manage day-to-day workflows through the procure to pay and order to cash end to end business processes. Reference B contains guidance for the fiscal year pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover detailed activities by interface. This reference should be utilized by all logisticians planning to procure goods and services through: Defense Medical Logistics Support System, Government-wide Commercial Purchase Card, Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps, GSA (Serv Mart, Advantage, Kiosk), Naval Energetic Systems and Technologies, and PR Builder. 2. Mission. Announce guidance for pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover transition period guidance for interface business process areas. 3. Execution. The DAI Confluence share point can be accessed by anyone who has a Department of Defense common access card. Administration and logistics. 4.a. Units/activities will ensure that key personnel (Supply Officer, Supply Chief, Supply personnel) have access to this information. 4.b. During the transition period, MARCORLOGCOM is processing instruction via MARADMIN on centrally controlled and executed collection of enterprise offline requisitions. Beginning October 1, 2021 Units will be able to submit offline requisitions to MARCORLOGCOM via a predetermined spreadsheet format. The required document will be submitted to the smblogcomg4lsco@usmc.mil email box. MARCORLOGCOM G4 will convert all submitted requests to AOA and AE1/BM MILSTRIP format transactions. It is imperative that during this scheduled transition period the Marine Corps maintain its ability to support readiness based combat essential equipment. Therefore, the focus of effort will be on collecting high priority requisition data that directly supports combat essential equipment. 5. Command and signal.
