2022 Opportunity to Serve as Assistant Drum Major United States Marine Band
This MARADMIN announces the opportunity for qualified Marines to apply for the position of Assistant Drum Major at the United States Marine Band, Marine Barracks Washington. Applicants must be Staff Sergeants or above with PMOS 5524, and must submit a comprehensive package including performance videos and recommendations by December 1, 2021.

1. This message announces the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Drum Major, U.S. Marine Band, Marine Barracks Washington. 2. Applicant requirements: 2.a. Possess PMOS 5524. 2.b. Be a Staff Sergeant or above. 2.c. Be a graduate of the Music Unit Leader Course (CID N0355L2) upon execution of orders to MCC W44. 3. Applicant package requirements: 3.a. Copy of BIR. 3.b. Copy of BTR. 3.c. Letter of recommendation from a Band Officer (PMOS 5502) or senior enlisted acting as a Band Officer. 3.d. Video of applicant drum majoring a band in a Sound Off and Pass in Review. Does not need to be from an actual ceremony; may be from a rehearsal. 3.e. Video of applicant conducting the National Anthem and one march of their choosing from the podium. 4. Packages will be submitted to the Drum Major, U.S. Marine Band no later than 2359 EST 01 December 2021. For physical packages, recommend FedEx or UPS services.
