Selection as Color Sergeant of the Marine Corps

This MARADMIN announces the selection of Sergeant Daniel Vazquez Colon from 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, as the next Color Sergeant of the Marine Corps. The selection followed a rigorous vetting process conducted from September to October 2024, including tryouts at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. and interviews with senior leadership.

1.  From September to October 2024, qualified 
candidates for Color Sergeant of the Marine Corps underwent a
rigorous vetting process, to include tryouts aboard Marine Barracks
Washington, D.C and interviews with senior leadership.
2.  Marine Barracks Washington is pleased to announce the selection
of the next Color Sergeant of the Marine Corps:
2.a.  Sergeant Daniel Vazquez Colon, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 
1st Marine Division
3.  Marine Barracks Washington extends its congratulations to all
applicants, and encourages Marines interested in assignment to the
Oldest Post of the Corps to monitor future MARADMINs for available
vacancies.

Director of the Marine Corps.
