Marine Corps Voting Assistance Reporting Process and Timelines

This MARADMIN updates the Marine Corps Voting Assistance Program reporting process and timelines, canceling MARADMIN 386/14. All voting assistance officers and Marine Corps recruiters must now report voting assistance provided quarterly through the FVAP Admin Portal, with reports due no later than the last day of each quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31).

1.  Due to changes in reporting voting assistance, reference (a) is hereby cancelled.  This MARADMIN highlights the changes to the Voting Assistance Program's reporting process and timelines.
2.  Reference (b) announced the new reporting process and dates for voting assistance metrics and changes to the current reporting process and dates outlined in reference (c).
3.  Unit Voting Assistance Officers(UVAOs), Installation Voting Assistance Officers (IVAOs), Major Command Voting Assistance Officers (MCVAOs), and Marine Corps Recruiters reporting National Voter Registration Agency must report all voting assistance provided via the FVAP Admin Portal (www.fvap.gov/portal/login/welcome.html) using the following deadlines:
A.  Assistance provided 1 Jan-31 Mar:  NLT 31 March.
B.  Assistance provided 1 Apr-30 Jun:  NLT 30 June.
C.  Assistance provided 1 Jul-30 Sep:  NLT 30 September.
D.  Assistance provided 1 Oct-31 Dec:  NLT 31 December.
4.  Action.  MCVAOs, IVAOs, UVAOs, and Marine Corps Recruiters may document voting assistance provided as it occurs on multiple occasions throughout the quarter, or as a single entry at the conclusion of each quarter as best fits local practices, however all assistance provided must be properly reported no later than the last day of each quarter into the FVAP Admin Portal.
5.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
6.  This MARADMIN is cancelled once incorporated into reference (c).
