Solicitation for the 2023 Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Awards
This MARADMIN solicits nominations for the 2023 Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Awards, which will be presented at an awards dinner on 30 March 2023. The awards recognize outstanding Marines, civilians, and units in the installations and logistics communities. Nominations for logistics awards are due by 9 December 2022, and installations awards are due by 13 January 2023.

1. Purpose. To solicit nominations for the annual Marine Corps Installation and Logistics Awards, to be presented during the annual Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Awards Dinner on Thursday, 30 March 2023. These prestigious awards recognize those Marines and units that have distinguished themselves as the best in Marine Installations and Logistics during the current year. 2. The 2022 Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Awards are listed below: 3.a. Installations Awards 3.a.1. (Individual) Marine Corps Installation Command Officer of the Year. 3.a.2. (Individual) Marine Corps Installation Command Enlisted of the Year. 3.a.3. (Individual) Marine Corps Installation Command Civilian of the Year. 3.a.4. (Organizational) Commander-in-Chief Installation Excellence Award (Large Installation). 3.a.5. (Organizational) Commander-in-Chief Installation Excellence Award (Small Installation). 3.b. Logistics Awards 3.b.1. (Individual) First Lieutenant Travis Manion Marine Corps Officer Logistician of the Year. 3.b.2. (Individual) Marine Corps Enlisted Logistician of the Year. 3.b.3. (Individual) Marine Corps Civilian Logistician of the Year. 3.b.4. (Organizational) Marine Corps Logistics Organization/Team of the Year (Large Unit). 3.b.5. (Organizational) Marine Corps Logistics Organization/Team of the Year (Small Unit). 3.b.6. (Organizational) Marine Corps Logistics Organization/Team of the Year for Innovation. 4. Selection of award recipients will be made by an awards board convened by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Department of Installations and Logistics (IL) and will be comprised of senior members of the Installations and Logistics community. Announcement of award winners and details regarding presentation of awards will be provided in future correspondence. 5. Action 5.a. Commands with personnel and/or organizations meeting the criteria are encouraged to submit nominations. 5.b. Due to follow on publication requirements, all photograph submissions to MCILAP shall be submitted IAW the guidelines in the FY22 Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Awards Instructions located on the website. 5.c. Due dates 5.c.1. Installations award nominations are due to HQMC NLT 13 January. 5.c.2. Logistics award nominations are due to HQMC NLT 9 December. 6. Release authorized by LtGen Edward D.
