FY17 Hardship Duty Pay – Tempo (HDP-T) Program Details
This MARADMIN reauthorizes the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) program for fiscal year 2017, effective 1 October 2016 through 30 September 2017. All previous guidance from MARADMIN 510/14 and 619/14 regarding program administration and eligibility remains in effect.

1. Purpose. To reauthorize the Hardship Duty Pay-Tempo (HDP-T) program. 2. Background. Refs (a) and (b) provide Marine Corps guidance for the administration of the HDP-T program and authorized payments until 1 October 2016. Per ref (c), the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs reauthorized the Department of the Navys program for payment of HDP-T for fiscal year 2017. 3. Policy. Effective 1 October 2016, the payment of HDP-T to eligible Marines is reauthorized through 30 September 2017. All other guidance in refs (a) and (b) remain in effect. 4.
