Change to the Mandatory Possession Date for the Female Dress Blue Coat

This MARADMIN extends the mandatory possession date for the new Female Dress Blue Coat (FDBC) to 1 July 2024 due to continued supply chain issues. Female Marines may continue to wear either the old or new dress blue coat until the new mandatory possession date takes effect.

1.  New Female Dress Blue Coat (FDBC).  Reference (a) established 1 October 2022 as the mandatory possession date for the new FDBC.  Reference (b) extended the mandatory possession date to 1 April 2023 due to supply chain issues.  Due to continued supply chain issues, mandatory possession date for the new FDBC is extended until 1 July 2024.  Marines may wear either the old dress blue coat or the new FDBC until the new mandatory possession date.<br>
