Marine Barracks Washington Vacancies for Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20)
This MARADMIN announces officer vacancies at Marine Barracks Washington (MBW) for Fiscal Year 2020, with a selection panel convening in December 2019. 1. Marine Barracks Washington (MBW), the Oldest Post in the Corps, requires high caliber individuals to support ceremonial and security missions in the nations capital. During the month of December 2019, a panel comprised of staff from MMOA and MBW will select officers for assignment to FY20 billet vacancies.<br>
2. Eligibility requirements<br>
2.a. Time on Station (TOS). Officers who will complete their prescribed tour, on their current set of orders, NLT 30 September 2020 are eligible.<br>
2.b. Grade. Officers who are promoted, selected, or in zone for the solicited billet openings are eligible to apply.<br>
2.c. Officers who meet the TOS and grade requirements must also have:<br>
2.c.1. Minimum height: Male – 72 inches, Female – 68 inches<br>
2.c.2. Excellent military appearance<br>
2.c.3. Consistent first class PFT and CFT<br>
2.c.4. Primary MOS (PMOS) credibility with demonstrated military proficiency<br>
2.c.5. No adverse material<br>
2.c.6. Career timing that supports a full 36 month tour at MBW<br>
2.d. If an officer does not meet TOS, grade, or height requirements, the officer must contact their PMOS monitor to discuss waiver submission requirements.<br>
3. Process<br>
3.a. Interested officers must contact their PMOS monitor to determine their eligibility.<br>
3.b. Additionally, based on the needs of the Marine Corps, PMOS monitors may identify officers to screen for assignment. The PMOS monitor will notify officers in this category prior to the convening date of the panel.<br>
3.c. The deadline for interested officers to notify their PMOS monitor is 1 Dec 19.<br>

4.a. Captain: 4 x combat arms, 2 x 8006, 1 x 3404.<br>
5. MMOA will release a results MarAdmin after the selection panel concludes.<br>
