December Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) Promotions for Active Reserve (AR), Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) and January 2025 Planned SNCO Promotions for AR, SMCR, and IRR
This MARADMIN announces December 2024 Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) promotions and January 2025 projected promotions for Marine Corps Reserve components (Active Reserve, Selected Marine Corps Reserve, and Individual Ready Reserve). Commanders are authorized to effect promotions for selected Marines beginning 1 December 2024, following notification via Marine Online (MOL).

1. Upon receipt of this Marine Administrative
Message (MARADMIN) and posting of the notification via Marine On
Line (MOL), but not prior to 1 December 2024, Commanders will
effect the promotion of selected Marines per paragraph 5100 of
reference (a). Cite this MARADMIN as authority for promotion.
2. For additional details regarding Obligated Service (OBS),
Sequenced Professional Military Education (PME), and Commander
requirements visit the Enlisted Promotions website at

3. The numbers listed below indicate the senior number promoted the
previous month and the total number of Marines being promoted for
the current month per reference (b). Numbers may not always add up
due to noncompetitive selections (WO, MECEP selects; assigned a
seniority number with an alpha letter), discharges, and promotion
restrictions.
