FY06 Officer Command Staffing Report (CSR)

This MARADMIN announces the release of the FY06 Officer Command Staffing Report (CSR), which outlines officer staffing goals across various Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). The report is accessible via INFOPAC on 3270, and commands are advised that while MMOA intends to assign an officer to each staffing goal, some positions may remain unfilled due to critical shortages in certain MOS fields and unforeseen circumstances.

1. THE DIRECTOR, PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT DIVISION
(MM), HAS APPROVED THE FY06 COMMAND STAFFING REPORT (CSR) FOR
RELEASE. 
2. CMC (MMOA) INTENDS TO ASSIGN AN OFFICER TO EACH
STAFFING GOAL. IN SOME CASES THIS WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE, 
PARTICULARLY WITHIN CERTAIN MOS'S THAT ARE CONISTENTLY CRITICALLY 
SHORT. ADDITIONALLY, MMOA ATTEMPTS TO FORECAST THE COMPOSITION OF 
THE OFFICER INVENTORY A YEAR IN ADVANCE, BUT CANNOT PREDICT WITH 
CERTAINTY THE EFFECTS OF INDIVIDUAL OFFICER INTENTIONS, PROMOTION, 
COMMAND SELECTION, AND SCHOOL SELECTION. FINALLY, UNFORESEEN EMERGING 
REQUIREMENTS MAY REQUIRE CMC (MMOA) TO ADJUST STAFFING GOALS AT A 
LATER DATE.
3. ONCE RELEASED, THE CSR CAN BE ACCESSED VIA INFOPAC ON 3270.
