FY05 Marine Corps Exit Survey (MCES)
This MARADMIN announces the conclusion of the FY05 Marine Corps Exit Survey (MCES) data collection period, effective 15 December 2005. The survey collected over 9,800 responses from eligible Marines to understand retention motivations and inform future manpower plans and policies. The message thanks unit commanders, career retention specialists, and participating Marines for their support.

1. THE REF ANNOUNCED THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE FY05 MARINE CORPS EXIT SURVEY (MCES). EFFECTIVE 15 DEC 2005, THE FY05 MCES DATA COLLECTION PERIOD EXPIRES AND THE SURVEY WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE ON-LINE. 2. THANKS TO THE SUPPORT OF UNIT COMMANDERS AND CAREER RETENTION SPECIALISTS, AS WELL AS THE COMPREHENSIVE AND HONEST PARTICIPATION OF ELIGIBLE MARINES, CMC (MPP-50) COLLECTED OVER 9800 SURVEYS. THESE SURVEYS ARE ESSENTIAL TO UNDERSTANDING THE MOTIVATIONS OF OUR MARINES, IDENTIFYING AREAS THE MARINE CORPS CAN AND SHOULD IMPROVE, AND INFLUENCING RETENTION SUCCESS. THE INFORMATION WE RECEIVED WILL PLAY A VITAL ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE MANPOWER PLANS AND POLICIES.
