Announcement of Marine Corps Officers Selected for Acquisition Command by the Fiscal Year 2023 Marine Corps Acquisition Screening Panels
This MARADMIN announces the selection of three Marine Corps officers for acquisition command positions by the Fiscal Year 2023 Marine Corps Acquisition Screening Panels. The selected officers, all with MOS 8061, will assume command of ACAT II and major program manager equivalent billets within Marine Corps Systems Command. Selectees must attend the Commandant's Combined Commandership Course prior to or shortly after assuming their duties.

1. Per the references, the purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the names of Marine officers selected by the Fiscal Year 2023 Marine Corps Acquisition Screening Panels. The panels, composed of general officer and senior executive service members, screened Navy and Marine Corps applicants for assignment to O-6 acquisition command.<br>
2. The panels selected the following Marine Corps officers as approved by the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) and Commander Marine Corps Systems Command for command of Acquisition Category II (ACAT II) and major program manager equivalent billets (read in three columns):<br>

3. MMOA will place a letter in the official military personnel file of each officer in paragraph 2 noting their selection for acquisition command.<br>
4. Selectees will schedule attendance at Cornerstone: The Commandant's Combined Commandership Course prior to, or shortly after, assuming duties or upon course availability. The program consists of two courses conducted concurrently aboard MCB Quantico: a ten-day commander's course and a five-day spouses workshop. These courses are conducted tri-annually.
