Update to the Solicitation for the 2026 Marine Corps Aviation Awards
This MARADMIN updates the solicitation for the 2026 Marine Corps Aviation Awards by adding two new awards: the Ted Williams Award for Individual Exceptional Achievement in Reserve Marine Aviation and the Jack Bergman Award for Marine Reserve Unit of the Year. Nomination packages must be received by Headquarters Marine Corps Aviation no later than 1 February 2026.

1. This MARADMIN announces an update to the list of 2026 Marine Corps Aviation Awards included in REF B. 2. The below (2) awards have been added effective immediately. (1) Ted Williams Award- Individual Exceptional Achievement in Reserve Marine Aviation. Awarded to recognize the superior performance of an individual in Reserve Marine Aviation. (2) Jack Bergman Award- Marine Reserve Unit of the Year. Any Marine unit, Regular or Reserve, are eligible for this award to recognize the superior performance of a unit and their support to Reserve Marine Aviation. 3. Nomination packages must be received by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Aviation (AVN) NLT 1 February 2026. All other instructions, details, and contact information contained in REF B remain in effect. 4. Release authorized by Lieutenant General W. H. Swan, Deputy Commandant for Aviation.
