Announcement of Reserve Sergeant Major (SgtMaj) Slate Billets for Calendar Year (CY) 2020
This MARADMIN announces the assignment of nine Reserve Sergeants Major to slate billets across various Marine Corps Reserve units for Calendar Year 2020. The newly assigned SgtsMaj are directed to submit Inter-Unit Transfer requests through their chain of command and coordinate with their gaining commands for specific report dates.

Upon publication of this MARADMIN, the newly assigned SgtsMaj are directed to submit their Inter-Unit Transfer (IUT) through their losing chain of command, per references (a) and (b).<br> 3. The tour of duty for each newly selected O6 level SgtMaj is for 36 months unless otherwise directed based on the needs of the Marine Corps. In all cases, direct liaison must be made by the assigned SgtMaj with the new Major Subordinate Command SgtMaj for a more exact report date and to ensure a proper turnover can be conducted.<br> 4. Per reference (c), Duplicate BIC assignments are allowed for a 90 day turnover if applicable. The gaining command is directed to contact the RA SgtMaj for appropriate BIC assignment. The RA SgtMaj will reassign the outbound SgtMaj to an EX009 BIC and assign the incoming SgtMaj to the published BIC per the unit verified table of organization. The outbound SgtMaj must remain assigned to the EX009 BIC until completion of the IUT and transferred to gaining command.<br> 5.
