Resumption of Marine Corps Law Enforcement Training in Response to COVID-19

This MARADMIN announces the resumption of law enforcement training for Marine Corps law enforcement personnel following COVID-19 suspensions. It cancels three previous MARADMINs and requires Provost Marshals and Police Chiefs to follow local COVID-19 risk mitigation measures while maintaining readiness. Personnel affected by the previous training suspension must complete remedial training within 180 days of this message's publication.

1.  This message cancels MARADMIN 200/20, 314/20, and 433/20. 
2.  This message announces the resumption of LE training for Marine Corps LE personnel.  Provost Marshals (PM)/Police Chiefs (PC) shall adhere to local COVID-19 risk mitigation measures for the installation on which their respective Provost Marshal Offices or Marine Corps Police Departments are located.
3.  Training for Marine Corps LE personnel was previously suspended as a risk mitigation measure to protect the force from exposure to COVID-19.  Department and Service polices have set conditions for LE training to resume safely in a COVID-19 environment.  Marine Corps LE personnel shall maintain a high state of readiness in order execute LE functions and incident response. 
4.  In cases when LE training is unable to be conducted due to local COVID-19 risk mitigation measures, appropriate Data Housing and Reports Tool (DHART) entries and training memorandums will document inability to complete specific training events citing COVID-19.  PM/PC shall submit waivers to PSL for training that is unable to be completed due to local COVID-19 risk mitigation measures.  DHART and training records are subject to Inspector General inspections.   
5.  Marine Corps LE personnel impacted by the previous LE training suspension are required to remediate LE training standards no later than 180 days after the publication of this message.
