FY26 Meritorious Promotions for Extended Active Duty Recruiter Assignments
This MARADMIN authorizes meritorious promotions for two Extended Active Duty (EAD) recruiters effective 2 January 2026: one Marine to Staff Sergeant and one to Gunnery Sergeant. Commanders are granted authority to execute these promotions, provided the Marines meet service obligation requirements extending through at least 1 January 2028.

Upon receipt of this Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN), Commanders are granted the authority to meritoriously promote the Marines listed below with a date of rank and effective date of 2 January 2026. Cite this MARADMIN as authority for promotion. 2. Meritorious Promotion List 2.a. To Staff Sergeant: Name MCC Duvalcortez, H. L. 960 2.b. To Gunnery Sergeant: Name MCC Slavin, J. N. 989 3. Marines who do not possess an Expiration of Active Service or Reserve Expiration of Current Contract of 1 January 2028 or later are not authorized to be promoted and will not have their promotion effected in the Marine Corps Total Forces System until they comply. 4. Commanding Officers are authorized to locally extend Marines who are identified as not being in compliance with obligated service requirements, citing this MARADMIN as the authority. 5.
