FY 2017 Marine Corps Enlisted Aide of the Year Award Winner

This MARADMIN announces Gunnery Sergeant Jeffrey D. Matthews Jr., Enlisted Aide to the Commanding General, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa Japan, as the FY 2017 Marine Corps Enlisted Aide of the Year. GySgt Matthews was honored at the 2017 USO Salute to the Military Chefs Annual Gala on 14 November 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, Virginia.

1.  The 2017 Marine Corps Enlisted Aide of the year is Gunnery Sergeant Jeffrey D. Matthews Jr., Enlisted Aide to the Commanding General, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa Japan.
2.  This award recognizes excellence and outstanding dedication to duty for Food Service Enlisted Aide professionals.  Professionalism, commitment to excellence, devotion to duty, and technical expertise are the qualities that provide a firm base for the Marine Corps Enlisted Aide community.
3.  GySgt Jeffrey D. Matthews Jr. was honored at the 2017 USO Salute to the Military Chefs Annual Gala, held at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, Virginia, on 14 November 2017.  This event is hosted by the United Service Organizations-Metro (USO-Metro), recognizing the nation's elite Military Chefs and their volunteer commitment to service.
