FY18 Manpower Management Records and Performance Branch (MMRP) and Promotions Branch (MMPR) Westpac (Japan and Hawaii) Command Visit Schedule 4-12 December 2017

This MARADMIN announces a West Pacific (WESTPAC) Roadshow conducted by the Manpower Management Records and Performance Branch (MMRP) and Promotions Branch (MMPR) from December 4-12, 2017, visiting bases in Japan and Hawaii. The roadshow will provide briefings on evaluation and promotion processes to Marines at various ranks, with morning sessions targeting junior enlisted and officers, and afternoon sessions focused on senior leadership.

1.  In accordance with reference (a), MMRP and MMPR will execute the West Pacific (WESTPAC) Roadshow from 4 to 12 December 2017 at designated Japan and Hawaii locations to conduct a series of briefs, in order to equip Marines Reported On (MRO), Reporting Seniors (RS), Reviewing Officers (RO), and Senior Enlisted and Officer unit leadership with the knowledge to better understand the evaluation and promotion processes per the following schedule:<br>

2.  Daily Schedule.  With the exception of Camp Smith, both the morning and afternoon sessions will be conducted at each location above.  The morning session will be approximately two hours of briefs per target audience consisting of career counseling, performance evaluation, and promotions.  The afternoon session is intended for all senior officers and senior enlisted staff non-commissioned officers and will provide a condensed set of briefs that is consistent with the morning session but will be tailored specifically for the command level.  Each session will be followed by a question and answer period.<br>

3.  Coordinating Instructions.<br>
3.a.  Target Audience: All officers and senior staff non-commissioned officers are highly encouraged to attend.  Times will be closely adhered to allow for individuals that cannot stay for all briefs.<br>
3.b.  Reporting officials are encouraged to bring RS Average and RS High numbers for each of their profiles.  RS profile information can be obtained through the "RSRO" tab in your OMPF, which can be accessed via the "OMPF" tab in MOL.  All Marines are encouraged to bring their current Master Brief Sheet.<br>
3.c.  Each location is responsible for providing access to a projector, projector screen, and microphone: as well as appropriate support staff to assist with setup.  All logistical support for each location should be coordinated with POC 2 listed above.<br>
3.d.  Maximum participation and support from all levels of command is essential.<br>
