FY23 Solicitation of Qualified Marines for the Joint Communications Unit
This MARADMIN solicits qualified enlisted Marines to screen for assignment to the Joint Communications Unit (JCU), which provides technological solutions for Joint Special Operations Command and Special Operations Forces. Marines in specific communications and cyber MOSs are eligible to apply through the JCU website, and will be contacted by recruiting personnel after submitting their application.

1. The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit qualified Enlisted Marines to screen for the Joint Communications Unit (JCU). All Marines assigned to JCU must meet specific and very stringent criteria mandated by JCU. 2. The JCU delivers global, technological solutions for the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and Special Operations Forces (SOF). JCU provides innovative, leading-edge solutions through continuous research, development, testing and evaluations of the SOF information environment and proven technologies to the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). 3. The below MOS(s) are eligible. 0621 - Transmissions System Operator 0627 - Satellite Transmissions System Operator 0629 - Transmissions Chief 0631 - Network Administrator 0639 - Network Chief 0671 - Data Systems Administrator 0679 - Data Chief 0699 - Communications Chief 1721 - Cyber Warfare Operator 2862 - Ground Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician 4. The JCU Application and the Commanders Evaluation form will be utilized to evaluate eligibility for assessment and selection.
