This MARADMIN announces the results of the Fiscal Year 2020 Commandant of the Marine Corps Active Reserve Career Planner and Staff Noncommissioned Officer In Charge of the Year Award Board. GySgt Robert E. Beck was selected as AR SNCOIC Career Planner of the Year, and SSgt Christopher B. Ruffner was selected as AR Career Planner of the Year, with the latter receiving a meritorious promotion to the next higher grade.

1. The Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) Active Reserve (AR) Career Planner and Staff Noncommissioned Officer In Charge (SNCOIC) of the Year Selection Board convened on 2 November 2020 to consider nominations for the FY20 AR Career Planner and SNCOIC of the Year and Runner ups in accordance with the references. The results of the board are as follows:<br>
a. AR SNCOIC Career Planner of the Year: GySgt Robert E. Beck, CLR 45, 4th MLG<br>
b. AR SNCOIC Career Planner of the Year Runner up: No Selection<br>
c. AR Career Planner of the year: SSgt Christopher B. Ruffner, 6th ESB, 4th MLG<br>
d. AR Career Planner of the Year Runner up: SSgt Jose A. Gonzalez, 4th Recon BN, 4th MARDIV<br>
2. In accordance with reference (e), the AR Career Planner of the Year will be meritoriously promoted to the next higher grade. Amplifying guidance regarding the CMC awards ceremony for the AR Career Planner and SNCOIC of the Year will be provided via separate correspondence.<br>
3. Congratulations to those selected and all nominated Career Planners and SNCOICs. Your outstanding performance in this critical area was commendable and directly affected retention efforts throughout the Marine Corps in a positive and enduring manner.<br>
