FY18 First Sergeant and Master Sergeant Selection Board Reconvene
This MARADMIN announces the adjournment and reconvening of the FY18 Staff Noncommissioned Officer Selection Board. The board completed the Sergeant Major and Master Gunnery Sergeant selections (released via MARADMIN 613/17) but was dismissed before completing First Sergeant and Master Sergeant selections, which will reconvene on January 8, 2018.

1. The FY18 Sergeant Major through Master Sergeant Selection Board that convened on 18 October 2017 and adjourned on 12 December 2017, completed the SgtMaj and MGySgt portion of the board, and the results were approved and released on Maradmin 613/17. The board was dismissed prior to completion of the First Sergeant and Master Sergeant portion of the board.<br> 2. The FY18 First Sergeant and Master Sergeant Selection Board will reconvene on 8 January 2018 and will remain in session until all Marines have been properly considered.<br> 3. No additional updated material will be accepted. The references remain unchanged.<br> 4. This MARADMIN will be posted to the Promotion Branch web site.<br> 5.
