January 2017 SNCO Meritorious Promotions for Special Duty Assignments
This MARADMIN announces meritorious promotions for Staff Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) serving on Special Duty Assignments (SDA) for January 2017. A total of 19 Marines are meritoriously promoted to Gunnery Sergeant and 110 Marines to Staff Sergeant, with an effective date of rank of 2 January 2017. These promotions recognize exemplary performance by Marines serving in special duty roles including Drill Instructors, Recruiters, Marine Security Guards, and Marine Security Force personnel.
