Results of the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) Selection Board

This MARADMIN announces the results of the Fiscal Year 2020 Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) selection board held on 11 December 2019. Seven Marines (grades E6-E7) were selected for EOA positions at various commands, with one selected for a special assignment at DEOMI, and three Marines were selected as alternates. Selected Marines will attend the EOA course at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, with classes beginning in January and June 2020.

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the results of the FY20 EOA selection board held on 11 December 2019.  EOA is a Type 2 "B" Billet, the following applicants were selected and assigned to the following EOA classes and commands:<br>

4.  Marines selected will attend the EOA course at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida via Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) orders as assigned.  The course dates are as follows:<br>

5.  These selections and future assignments were coordinated with MMEA.  All TAD and follow on PCSO/PCAO for the above listed Marines will be transmitted via separate correspondence.<br>
6.  Marines are required to have obligated service prior to attending DEOMI (36 months from date of graduation).  Those Marines that do not have the obligated service are required to submit via the Total Force Retention System (TFRS).  Requests to retire prior to the completion of the 36 months from date of graduation will not receive favorable endorsement.<br>
7.  All slated class dates and future command assignments are subject to change based on the needs of the Marine Corps and the requirements of the EOA program.<br>
