Transfer of Authority of MARFORNORTH from COMMARFORRES to COMMARFORCOM
This MARADMIN announces the transfer of authority for Marine Forces Northern Command (MARFORNORTH) from the Commander of Marine Forces Reserve (COMMARFORRES) to the Commander of Marine Forces Command (COMMARFORCOM), effective 7 December 2020. The officer serving as COMMARFORCOM will now hold three concurrent titles: COMMARFORCOM, COMMARFORNORTH, and Commanding General of Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic (CG, FMFLANT).

Per the references, and in conjunction with the confirmation of the officer serving as Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command (COMMARFORCOM), COMMARFORCOM assumed additional authorities as Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Northern Command (COMMARFORNORTH) on 7 Dec 2020. The officer serving as COMMARFORCOM and COMMARFORNORTH will retain the additional title of Commanding General, U.S. Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic (CG, FMFLANT). 2.
