Results of the First Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) Selection Board

This MARADMIN announces the results of the first FY21 Equal Opportunity Advisor (EOA) selection board held on 6 November 2020, with seven Marines selected for the program. Selected Marines will attend the EOA course at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, with classes beginning in January and March 2021.

1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the results of the FY21 EOA selection board held on 6 November 2020.  Class assignments will be forthcoming via separate correspondence to those selected with detailed information.  EOA is a Type 2 Screenable Billet, the following applicants were selected and assigned to the EOA program:<br>

2.  Marines selected will attend the EOA course at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida via Temporary Additional Duty (TAD) orders as assigned.  The course dates are as follows:<br>

3.  Eight remaining vacancies for FY21 will be selected from future boards.  Applicants must submit packages prior to February 2021 to be considered for the 21-3 class and prior to April 2021 to be considered for the 21-4 class.<br>
4.  The course dates are as follows:<br>

5.  These selections and future assignments were coordinated with MMEA.  All TAD and follow on PCSO/PCAO for the above listed Marines will be transmitted via separate correspondence.<br>
6.  Marines are required to have obligated service prior to attending DEOMI (36 months from date of graduation).  Those Marines that do not have the obligated service are required to submit via the Total Force Retention System (TFRS).  Requests to retire prior to the completion of the 36 months from date of graduation will not receive favorable endorsement.<br>
7.  All slated class dates and future assignments are subject to change based on the needs of the Marine Corps and the requirements of the EOA program.<br>
