Announcement of Interim Return to Active Duty Board for Marine Aviators
This MARADMIN announces the results of the Interim Return to Active Duty (RAD) Board for Marine aviators that convened on 11 May 2020. Five reserve officers with various aviation MOSs have been selected for return to active duty and will be recommended for active component appointments through the scrolling process, which may take up to 120 days or more.

1. This MARADMIN announces the results of theInterim Return to Active Duty (RAD) Board. The board convened 11 May 2020. The below listed officers will be recommended to the Secretary of Defense or the Senate as appropriate, for active component appointments through the scrolling process. If approved, officers will be contacted by MMOA for completion of appointment paperwork and transfer to the active component. Upon being joined to the active component (Comp Code 11) by their appropriate Marine Corps Reserve Agency, selected officers should contact their gaining active component PMOS monitor (MMOA-2) and not prior. The scrolling process may take upwards of 120 days or more to accomplish. RAD selectees will serve a minimum of 48 months on active duty, with the start date being the date joined to the AC. Company grade selectees not previously career designated will compete for career designation after obtaining 540 days observed fitness reporttime from the date they are joined to the AC. Majors selected for RAD will automatically be career designated.<br> 3. MMOA will not guarantee assignment to a requested billet or geo-location.
