Change 1 to the FY 2021 Reserve (SMCR-IRR) Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) Selection Board
This MARADMIN announces a change to the FY 2021 Reserve (SMCR-IRR) Staff Noncommissioned Officer Selection Board by adding MOS 6114 (Staff Sergeant to Gunnery Sergeant) to the list of closed Military Occupational Specialties. It also reminds Marines that photographs are not authorized for promotion boards and emphasizes the responsibility of Marines to ensure their records are complete and accurate.

1. This Marine Administrative Message (MARADMIN) announces an addition to the closed Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) established by reference (a) for the convening of the FY 2021 Reserve (SMCR-IRR) SNCO Selection Board. This change is reflective of the current requirements of the Marine Corps. This MARADMIN pertains to members of the Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR), the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA), Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), and Limited Tour Active Reserve (AR) Marines.<br> 2. As zones and allocations are subject to change prior to or during boards, all Marines are reminded of their responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of their records. <br> 3. The additional Primary MOS that is now closed for the FY 2021 Reserve (SMCR-IRR) SNCO Selection Board is as follows: STAFF SERGEANT TO GUNNERY SERGEANT: 6114<br> 4. In accordance with reference (b), photographs are not authorized information for promotion boards and selection processes pertaining to assignment, training, education, and command. This prohibition includes official photographs located in the Official Military Personnel File (OMPF), as well as photographs submitted in correspondence by individual Marines. This includes photographs on the Reserve Qualification Summary (RQS). <br> 5. It is requested that the information contained in this bulletin receive the widest dissemination. <br> 6. This MARADMIN will be posted to the Promotions Branch web site.<br> 7. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve.<br> 8. Release authorized by BGen Michael J.
